Why a Book Club for Preschoolers?

• One of the goals of our community project is to help ensure that all Langley preschool children have books readily accessible to them within their own homes.
• Children will experience the joy of having one’s own books to read and re-read over and over again.
• Families will develop a love of reading together. 
• Important links between child, parents, schools and community will be developed and strengthened prior to Kindergarten entry (e.g. early information /access to community and district programs such as StrongStart, local library programs, Ready Set Learn, child-centered community events) through our monthly newsletter.
• "Recycling" and "re-using" baby/toddler books provides a service directly to and from our own community - a win-win for donors and receivers!
